Comcast offers many shows On Demand for major broadcasting networks like CNN and NBC. For example, I could watch a special Putin broadcast by CNN any time that I want. I cannot, however, watch any of the Republican or Democratic debates anytime I want, even though this is more timely information. I would love it if I could watch some of these debates again and some for the first time.
It is especially frustrating whenever you miss a debate and end up watching the networks retelling of it. For example, I was watching CNN's retelling of the democratic debate tonight and witnessed one major lie and a couple of telling cuts in footage. Anderson Cooper starts by saying that he is going to show an unedited portion of the debate regarding an exchange between Obama and Clinton. However, what CNN ends up doing is cutting off Obama's response to Clinton. They did this again with an exchange between Obama, Edwards, and Clinton, cutting off Obama's response. These were the only "unedited" parts of the debate that they showed. The blatant lie that I witnessed is from one of the CNN "experts" saying that Clinton currently leads in delegates and polls nationally. If you go to cnnpolitics.com you can very clearly see that Obama is leading in delegates. Speaking of cnnpolitics.com, why do they feel the need to put their projections of the delegates for the democrats and not for the republicans. Is it just me, or does this show that CNN is only concerned with democrats.
It would be great if someone would make an Out-foxed style documentary on CNN.
