Grassy-Water

Part 8 in my vintage Polaroid series is a photo I took on the coast of Oregon.  There was a little patch of rocks, containing water, with a vibrant patch of moss.  This was done by taking a series of jpegs with bracketing, running them through photomatix to make an HDR, a decent amount of playing with the colors, and finally applying a Polaroid border.

Part 7 in my vintage Polaroid series is a photo of a painting I did.  This photo shows the power of how bright colors and some well positioned lighting can overcome shadows.

Part 6 in my vintage Polaroid series is a photo I took of my dog, Olive, sleeping on our couch.  Since we are in the middle of moving, this is a photo that captures a sense of our loft at 1100 Shackamaxon in Philadelphia.  I applied a few different vintage effects to this photo, enjoy!

Part 5 in my vintage polaroid series is our current apartment building.  We live in a loft building and this is a photo that I took to capture the memory of this building.  Let me know what you think of this little gem.

Bench

Part 4 in my vintage Polaroid series is a photo of a bench in Portland.  This was captured at the end of a long hike that our friends took us on.  I sat down to rest, and thought that the bricks looked very nice, so I took a picture of it.  I probably could give this one more of a vintage feel, but I don't want to reduce the colors of the bricks.

Part 3 in the Polaroid series, this is a photo I took at a beach on the coast in Oregon.  This may be my favorite photo, I really love sepia, and this photo captures a natural sepia occurrence.  How do you like it?

Olive

Here is another photo that I took to add to my Polaroid series.  I have quite a few more to add, 1 a day for the next week.  This is a photo I took of our dog, Olive, during a blackout last week.  The only light was from candles and the nice flash on my powershot.  She is an expressive dog, and I believe this photo does a good job of capturing some of her expressiveness.

Philadelphia Polaroid - 2k8

I took this picture from UPENN's parking garage at Walnut and 37th street in May of 2008.  It was taken in RAW format, using a Canon Powershot s3.  I then ran it through photomatix.  Next, I ran an action in Photoshop to give it the Polaroid effect.  What do you think?
